About

I was born in Milan in 1999. After attending the Liceo Scientifico Elio Vittorini, I enrolled in the three-year university course of Informatics for Digital Communication at the University of Milan, where I graduated with a thesis on Applications of Image Quality for Film Restoration. I am very interested in the application of information technology for the production of visual works, so I decided to continue studying with the two-year master's degree Creative Media Production at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) of Milan.

VR Experience - Ergo Sum (2024)

The focus of ergo sum is the construction of a virtual identity whose appearance is the direct result of the interactions that the user carries out. The environment is dreamlike, full of visual and auditory stimuli.
"We are the result of our choices"
It is an attempt to move away from an anthropocentric and rigid vision, simulating the approach of an extremely moldable creature to a mysterious world.

Diorama - Small forest (2023)

The installation involves a natural diorama created using Unity, Max8, and sensors. The interactive environment allows for modifications to the following characteristics: four seasons, intensity of wind, perspective/view, weather conditions, time of day.
These elements can be dynamically adjusted through the installation's interface, offering an immersive and interactive experience for the viewers.

Video Installation - Careof Archive Exhibition (2024)

The students of Creative Media Production, led by professors Vinicio Bordin, Filippo Marta, Paolo Ranieri and Rino Tagliafierro, collaborated with Careof, a non-profit organization for contemporary art, in the creation of a multimedia installation that explored the Documentation Fund dedicated to the Italian artistic scene from the 80s to the present, with a specific focus on material produced by Mario Gorni. The project was realized in collaboration with Marta Bianchi and Marta Cereda, based on an idea by Lorenza Pignatti and Michele Aquila. Special thanks to the support of Zefferina Castoldi, Mario Gorni, and Alessandro Nassiri. The installation’s music, in English, was curated by Mykofobi.

Mapping - Mosaic of the Nile (2022)

An interactive work on the Palestrina's "Mosaico del Nilo" created using Touchdesigner, Pure Data and Photoshop. The installation allows the user to explore the Nile Mosaic by activating animations and audio related to the subjects present in the work. The idea comes from a reflection on the true value of the artistic experience: the stimulus to devote time and care to the particular rather than to the object as a whole. Taking the time to identify the details, whether they are within a work of art or in everyday life, is something that must be rediscovered and valued.

Pitch for television series - As a matter of feel (2023)

A woman, suffering from a neurodegenerative disease, joins an experimental program to save her memory.
However, the experiment doesn't go as planned.
The work involved the search for an idea and a subject, taking into consideration the genre and the audience target. Then a market research was done to verify the novelty of the idea. Other steps have included creating the logline, the synopsis, characters, the episode timeline, a sample episode, visual and thematic references, the creation of a couple of moodboards and a reference to the scientific context.

2D game - Mondrian Game (2023)

This 2D top-down game, created with Unity, invites the player to experience the story of a fantastic world, inspired by the works of Mondrian, in which an imaginary hero fights against time to save his kingdom from a destructive threat. During the exciting adventure, the player must defeat the 3 enemy bosses who stole the primary colors to return them to their colored kingdom. With intuitive controls, the character can be navigate through the landscape and obstacles. Along the way, the character can collect power-ups to prolong his life. The game combines engaging gameplay mechanics with a captivating storyline, immersing players in a rich and vibrant universe as they strive to complete their mission and achieve victory.

A 2D minigame made with Unity that invites players to help a little spider to return to his friends. During the adventure, the spider has to overcome obstacles and avoid enemies.

Documentary - Haredin (2023)

The documentary, made with Da Vinci Resolve, tells the story of Haredin, an Albanian man who, after the fall of the dictatorship in his country and the onset of internal unrest, decides to leave for Italy facing a dangerous journey to start a new life.
In Italy, together with his family, despite the homesickness for his homeland, he finds a stability that allows him to offer a better future for his children.
The work involved both video and audio shooting, as well as editing. The film is in the original Albanian language, subtitled in Italian.

Short film - The red death

The short film comes from a free reinterpretation of "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe.
The story, set in Milan in 2020, takes place during the Covid-19 emergency and tells the impact of the danger on some groups of individuals. The colors, taken from Poe's story, act as a common thread to accompany the viewer through the various events. Furthermore, the red color of the masks indicates that the people wearing them have been infected.
The work involved both video and audio shooting, as well as editing. The actors are not professionals.
